KURT ONETO (Sacramento Office) is an associate in the firm's government law section.

Prior to joining Nielsen Merksamer, Mr. Oneto served as a legislative analyst with the California District Attorneys Association and as a legislative aide to a member of the California State Senate. Additionally, Mr. Oneto interned for a member of the United States House of Representatives.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law. Mr. Oneto is a member of the California State Bar.
