Julia von Klan d’Amours

Julia von Klan d’Amours is an associate in the firm’s litigation section.

Julia graduated from The George Washington University Law School. During law school, she clerked at the United States House of Representatives, United States Department of Justice, and the United Nations.

Julia attended Occidental College in Los Angeles, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in international relations. She received her Master’s of Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she performed her field studies in Indonesia and throughout the Middle East.

She currently teaches a course at The George Washington University Law School on statutory interpretation, introductory constitutional law, and legal research and writing. Prior to joining Nielsen Merksamer, Julia served as a Deputy District Attorney in Santa Barbara, California, where she prosecuted a variety of criminal and civil matters.

Julia is admitted to the California Bar. She is a citizen of Chile, the Czech Republic, and the United States.
