Mr. Kingston advises corporations, non-profits, trade associations, political committees, and individuals on election, campaign finance, lobbying, ethics, and ballot measure laws. Mr. Kingston earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law, and graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in political science.

While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Kingston worked as an Appellate Law Clerk and Extern with the California Attorney General’s Office, where he completed specialized training in legal writing and represented the State of California in a range of appellate matters. Mr. Kingston also served as Vice President of Alumni Relations on the UW Moot Court Honor Board and has legal experience working with several law firms in Washington.

Before entering law school, Mr. Kingston worked as a Research Aide for the Seattle City Council Central Staff and as a Fundraising and Compliance Fellow with Blue Wave Political Partners, where he supported political campaigns at every level of government through donor maintenance and outreach services.

He is a member of the California State Bar.
